Why doesn't my Garmin quarter-turn radar fit?
It does. Just install your Garmin quarter-turn radar on the Wahoo insert by turning it clockwise. We use Wahoo branded inserts because they are compatible with all brands of quarter-turn radars.

Are your mounts custom designed for my specific seat post?
Yes, all our mounts are designed specifically for the intended seat post. They fit like a glove and are super secure on all road and off-road surfaces.
What radars are your mounts compatible with?
We have radar two mount styles:
1. Garmin Varia RCT715 with camera
- This radar mount style is only compatible with the RCT715 with camera
2. Standard quarter-turn radars using a 1.25"/32mm round insert or puck. This fits the following radars:
- Garmin Varia RearVue 820, RTL510, RTL515, RTL516 and RVR315
- Wahoo Trackr
- Outbound Lighting Blade Taillight
- Bryton Gardia - you will need to rotate the quarter turn insert 90 degrees
- Magene L508 - you will need to rotate the quarter turn insert 90 degrees
- CYCPLUS bike radar tail light
- iGPSport SR mini and SR30 - you will need to rotate the quarter turn insert 90 degrees
All our mounts come with holes to rotate the insert 90 degrees. See the video on our installation page or, better yet, let us know and we will rotate the insert for you before shipping.
Sheehy Labs mounts use a Wahoo branded quarter turn insert. It is a durable insert compatible with all of the radar units listed above; however, the radar unit will only install by turning it clockwise.
Will the mount damage my seat post?
No, the soft plastic material will not damage your seat post. The clamping pressure of the mount is far less than anything your seat post is is subject to when clamped into the frame's seat tube. The mount will not scratch the post. Do not use any protective material between the seat post and the mount, otherwise the mount won't fit (and would likely end up sliding on the seat post).
What is your recommended torque spec?
We don't have a torque specification on the screws. They are very small so it is difficult to over-torque them. You will want to tighten the mount until the gap in the mount is closed and the mount is very snug on the seat post. Tighten each screw a bit at a time to close the gap. Be very careful to get the angle of wrench correct so you don't strip the head of the stainless screws. Once the gap is closed, you are done. No need to tighten anymore. No need to add thread lock.

What's this "WH" on the insert?
We use a Wahoo branded insert because it is compatible with all radar brands that use a 1.25"/35mm quarter-turn format. You may need to rotate the insert 90 degrees to fit your brand of radar. See our installation page for a video.
Why don't you use a Garmin insert?
Garmin quarter-turn inserts or pucks are only compatible with Garmin radar units. We use a Wahoo branded insert because it is compatible with all radar brands that use a 1.25"/35mm quarter-turn format. This helps us keep our costs down. Just install your Garmin by turning it clockwise on the mount.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is up to you. When you check out, you select the shipping service you want (USPS, UPS) and the priority (ground, expedited, etc). The shipping cost will be added at checkout. It is typically around $6 for USPS domestic ground shipments. We don't recommend expedited shipping. We try to ship same day, but USPS and UPS are not your friend when it comes to moving things fast. Unfortunately, we do not have the sales volume yet to offer free shipping.
Where are your products manufactured?
We design, print, assemble, package and ship all our mounts from our small machine shop in West Kingston, Rhode Island, USA. We do rely on a 3rd party for the quarter-turn insert/puck and the proprietary Garmin quarter-turn lever lock (QTLL) used for the Garmin Varia with the camera (RCT715). These 3rd party items are manufactured in China.
